கனடாவில் கடந்த மாதம் பிக்கரிங் நகரில் துப்பாக்கி சூடு நடத்திய தமிழ் இளைஞன் ஒருவரை பொலிஸார் தேடி வருகின்றனர். ஒன்டாரியோ பிராட்போர்ட் பகுதியை சேர்ந்த 33 வயதான மகிபன் பேரின்பநாதன் என்ற இளைஞனே தேடப்பட்டு வருகிறார்.

ஒகஸ்ட் 16 ஆம் திகதி அதிகாலை 1.10 மணியளவில், லிவர்பூல் மற்றும் கிங்ஸ்டன் வீதிகளை சந்திக்கும் பகுதியில் உள்ள ஒரு வாகன நிறுத்துமிடத்தில் துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இது தொடர்பில் உடனடியாக பொலிஸாருக்கு தகவல் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்ந்தை அடுத்து ் சம்பவ இடத்துக்கு விரைந்த அதிகாரிகள், துப்பாக்கிச் சூட்டால் காயமடைந்த 2 நபர்களை கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்.
காயமடைந்தவர்கள் உடனடியாக மருத்துவமனைக்கு அழைத்து செல்லப்பட்டனர். எனினும் அவர்களின் நிலைமை குறித்து அதிகாரிகள் மேலதிக தகவல் வெளியிடவில்லை.
