Film Arts Society of Toronto (FAST) invites you to a milestone event in the history of Canadian Tamils. Recent years has seen an enormous increase in our community's involvement in various Film related Arts. To recognize, showcase and encourage these growing talents in our community, Film Arts Society of Toronto is holding the first ever Canadian Tamil Film Festival this weekend (Jan. 2nd, 3rd and 4th) at Ontario Science Centre.

Ticket prizes are $10, $25 and $100. We would also appreciate any help from you in promoting the ticket sales. Please read below for further details. (Saturday is the main day for the public - $10 ticket is sufficient for the whole of Saturday)

January 02, 2004 - Meet the Dream Makers (6pm to 8pm)

A Gala evening on January 2, 04 will bring together all the film, music videos, documentary and docudrama makers.

January 03, 2004 - Movie Screenings

Prepare for a busy day of stargazing and movie viewing. The organizers are planning a full day of screenings starting from 10:00 a.m. and finishing at 5:00 p.m. This gala event will not only highlight the young talents but will also show case the achievements of several Tamil movie industry stalwarts. More than 30 creations will be on display.

JANUARY 03, 2004 - AWARDS NIGHT
Movie makers, special invitees, and audience will be treated in the evening from 6:00 p.m. to a special night of performances and awards presentation for the best of the best in various fields of movie making.

January 04, 2004 - Lunch
Treat yourself to a sumptuous and spicy lunch and meet with artists, technicians, dignitaries from the movie industry, and organizers. (need to have the VIP ticket ($100) to attend this Lunch)
